2008 IWCA/NCPTW Conference

Every third year, when the IWCA/NCPTW Conference is scheduled for the fall, the MWCA does not hold a conference. We encourage all MWCA members to support our parent organization by attending the 2008 IWCA/NCPTW in Las Vegas, Nevada.

2006 MWCA Regional Conference

The Midwest Writing Centers Association's 23rd annual regional conference, “Expand the Frontier: Look Up, Look Out,” was held October 26-28, 2006, in St. Louis, Missouri.

The Midwest Writing Centers Association sponsored and hosted the joint conference of the International Writing Centers Association (IWCA) and the National Conference on Peer Tutors and Writing (NCPTW), held October 19-22, 2005, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. .

2004 MWCA Regional Conference

The Midwest Writing Centers Association's 22nd annual regional conference, “Talk Like a River: Discourses, Faith, Ethos, and Writing Centers,” was held November 4 – 6, 2004, by St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota.
