The Spring 2010 meeting of the North Central Section of the Mathematical Association of America will be held April 23-24 at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The program for the spring meeting will be available a week or two prior to the meeting.
The MAA-NCS Section NExT will meet at the University of St. Thomas immediately prior to the Spring 2010 Section Meeting as part of the Writing Workshop led by Ivars Peterson and Paul Zorn. To find out more about MAA-NCS Section NExT activities click here.
Lunch Details
- Buffet includes the following, plus beverages of coffee, tea, milk, ice water, and iced tea
- Sandwiches Please choose either "meat" or "vegetarian"
- Meat: turkey, roast beef and ham
- Vegetarian wrap: humms, roasted peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers and spinach leaves, rolled in a tortilla wrap.
- Fresh fruit tray
- Pasta salad (cold, vegetable)
- Gourmet cookie
- Cost: $11.00 (paid at registration)

- Parking is free Friday afternoon and Saturday in the surface lots, such as M, N, and O, on South Campus (south of Summit Ave.). The Frey Science and Engineering Center, where the meeting will be held, includes our science buildings, #40, O’Shaughnessy Science Hall (OSS) and #39, Owens Science Hall (OWS), and is on South Campus. The meeting will begin in OWS 150, with registration in the OWS foyer.
- Parking is not free at pay meters or in ramps. Parking is not permitted in fire lanes, handicapped, rideshare, restricted, or reserved spaces without proper permits or authorization.
